OREANDA-NEWS. The Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory of the TATNEFT tire manufacturing complex   produced the three millionth tire of the solid-steel cord design.

"Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory" produces 66 commodity items today for all types of trucks, buses and semitrailers. 23 of these items are produced by the off-take system for a European company, including the premium brand.

The main advantages of the KAMA solid steel cord tires include continuous operation, environmental friendliness and high-speed characteristics. The use of steel cord, the optimum design of the belt and  bead, as well as the special geometry of grooves with   increased self-cleaning of tires from stones allow longer maintenance of the tire carcass, reduced fuel consumption and increase of the load capacity of up to 8 percent.

Double tire retreading not only increases the tire life up to 500 thousand kilometers, but also proves to be an environmentally beneficial procedure. Retreading considerably reduces the amount of recycled tires and emissions into atmosphere.

Service life duration, economical operation and environmental friendliness of the KAMA SSC tires are confirmed every day in real conditions on the roads in Russia and abroad. The factory products are delivered to 31 countries of the world. The KAMA SSC tires are delivered to such auto manufacturers as "KAMAZ", "NefAZ", "TONAR" and they are used by major transport companies in Russia such as Celta (Magnet) and Mosgortrans.

The product quality of the Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory has been confirmed by victories in contests "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2015" and "100 best goods of Russia 2015".

TATNEFT Company has invested about 18 billion rubles in the construction of the SSC Tire Factory. The factory with a design capacity of 1.2 million tires per year has been built with application of international best practices and technologies for the production of the solid-steel cord tires.

The first KAMA SSC tires were manufactured in 2010.

Plans for December 2015 provide for manufacturing 100 thousand tires and reaching the design production level.
