OREANDA-NEWS. The company Geely in 2016 will present to the Russian market several new products. In February, start of sales of restyled version of Geely Emgrand X7 is scheduled. The updated crossover will receive, in particular, the new engine of 1.8 liters.

The whole range of engines (1.8 liter, 2.0 liter and 2.4 liter) will correspond to the ecological standard Euro-5. In addition, the car features by a wide range of safety systems: ABS, EBD, ESC and the system of assistance in moving on the rise, as well as a number of functional and stylistic changes. In connection with the launch of restyling Emgrand X7 until the start of its sales in Russia, it was stopped the delivery of the current version of the crossover. During this period, the official Geely dealers will offer customers the rest in warehouses cars, informed the press service of Geely.

In April of 2016 Geely will offer customers a new generation of models Emgrand EC7. Geely Emgrand EC7, available in our country since 2012, more than three years, holds the title of best-seller among Chinese sedans in Russia. The new generation of Emgrand EC7 will get engines Euro 5, ESC system, and keyless access. In the future, Emgrand EC7 will be the first model of Geely, equipped with emergency response system ERA-GLONASS.

As part of the upgrade model range, which was scheduled for 2016, the company Geely in Russia stops the supply and sale of model MK Cross, which is sold in our country since 2011. The launch of a new hatchback version MK Cross is not scheduled. However, Geely in Russia does not lose interest in this type of hatchbacks and it is considering the withdrawal to the Russian market of other brand models with similar characteristics.

In August of 2016 Geely plans to introduce in our country the flagship sedan GC9. This model, which is being implemented in China since April of this year, has become one of the most successful commercial products of company. By November, the monthly sales of GC9 reached a record of 5427 cars, and the demand continues to grow.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", for the eleven months of 2015 sales of Geely in the Russian market were 10,485 vehicles (-35%).
