OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian government has approved the indexing of utilization fee on new passenger cars since 2016 by 65%.

As noted in the Cabinet of Ministers, in 2012, when it was introduced recycling fee in Russia, the customs value of imported new vehicles increased by an average 1.5 times. The amount of the recycling fee has remained the same as the charge is levied in absolute terms that depend only on the category of the vehicle. Signed decree made changes, says the agency "Finmarket".

Coefficients of utilization fee for vehicles, since the date of which it was more than three years, remained unchanged, "because their values are quite high and they exceeds the coefficients for new vehicles by an average 2.7 times".

However, there was exceeded the utilization fee for new vehicles over vehicles that more than three years by the individual items of the list for indexing of 65%. "To keep the current ratio for these items there were adjusted coefficients for vehicles, since the launch date of which has been more than three years", - explained in the government.

To reduce the negative impact of the economic situation for the domestic automakers in 2015, the resolution also states that they can pay the recycling fee for the third quarter within 90 calendar days, which are following it.

Recall that now the base rate of utilization fee for passenger cars is 20 thousand rubles, and for trucks and buses - 150 thousand rubles.
