OREANDA-NEWS. “Donavia” airline, member of the “Aeroflot” Group of companies, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don.

The agreement provides for the cooperation between the university and the airlines in various fields, including the joint organization of scientific and practical seminars and conferences, the development and introduction of new educational projects, joint participation in competitions, practical exercises, and so on.

“This agreement is a testimony of the strengthening partnership relations between the airline and the university. Now we will work on a permanent basis in areas such as staff training, the use of advanced developments and the practical application of research results”, — noted the Director General of “Donavia”, A. E. Steblin.

“This is a significant event for our University, which is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary this year. The agreement shall allow students to gain applied competence, which in the future will help them become competitive specialists on the labor market", — said in his welcoming remarks, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and the development of youth programs, V. A. Kirik.
