OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2015. The FTSE ST Fledgling Index comprises the constituents listed on the SGX Mainboard that are not constituents of the FTSE ST All-Share Index. The index is a free-float adjusted, market capitalisation-weighted index representing the performance of companies ranked below the top 98% of the Country Universe. There are 331 constituents in the index, with a total market capitalisation of S\\$24.0 billion.

In the year thus far, the FTSE ST Fledgling Index has generated a 3.7% total return, taking the three-year return to 27.9%. The Index currently maintains a price-to-book ratio and dividend yield of 0.7 and 3.3% respectively.

The 10 highest-weighted constituents represent approximately 14% of the Index, and have a combined market capitalisation of S\\$2.2 billion. These 10 stocks averaged year-to-date and three-year total returns of 24.8% and 160.5%, outperforming the region.

Within the South-East Asia region, there are about 2300 stocks with a similar market capitalisation, from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines. The market capitalisation of these stocks range from S\\$1 million to S\\$406 million, and in the year to date they have averaged a 6.5% decline in total return.

Saizen REIT is a real estate investment trust launched by Japan Regional Assets Manager Limited. The fund is managed by Japan Residential Assets Manager Limited. The fund invests in residential properties of Japan. It primarily invests in real estate primarily for residential and residential-related purposes, and real estate-related assets. The asset portfolio consist of 136 properties across 14 cities, with a total value of JPY43.2 billion.

Innovalues engages in the manufacture, assembly, and sub-assembly of precision turned machining parts, components, and electronic and mechanical devices worldwide. The company operates through three segments: Automotive, Office Automation, and Others. It serves automotive, office automation, oil and gas, process, home appliances, and infrastructure industries. The company has operations in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the People's Republic of China, the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.

Poh Tiong Choon Logistics

Poh Tiong Choon Logistics provides logistics services to the petrochemical industry in Singapore. The company operates in four segments: Transportation and Bulk Cargo, Warehousing, Trading, and Leasing. It offers transportation services for high value, sensitive, and chemical cargoes in conventional, container, bulk, bulk liquid container, and heavy haulage forms through a fleet of refrigerated trucks, tipper trucks, cement tankers, and lorries; and bulk cargo handling and stevedoring services, including loading onto and discharging from vessels various types of cargoes.

SHS Holdings

SHS Holdings engages in grit blasting and painting activities primarily in Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the People’s Republic of China.
