OREANDA-NEWS. Federal Customs Service of Russia, according to requires of St. Petersburg authorities, took additional measures to ensure the import of components from Turkey.

The Russian Federal Customs Service confirmed the information for agency "Interfax" about 100% unobstructed release of automotive components, which are coming from Turkey to the Russian automakers, as announced previously, First Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Vladimir Malinin. "Now the FCS of Russia has taken additional measures to ensure the import of goods and components for the enterprises of the domestic industry", - emphasized in the FCS.

Earlier, the government of St. Petersburg asked the Federal Customs Service to unlock the import of raw materials and components from Turkey that are necessary for enterprises in the city. It is, first of all, the car plants of St. Petersburg - Toyota, Nissan, and Hyundai.

However, the problems with the supply of the Turkish automotive components affected not only St. Petersburg auto plants, but many major Russian automakers, wrote the newspaper "Kommersant". Despite assurances from the Federal Customs Service, according to the automakers, the supply situation is not stabilized yet. The difficulties with the import of Turkish components are kept, in particular for Renault and AvtoVAZ, says a source. And on December 2nd, Vice-Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich stated that the problem with the supply from Turkey to AvtoVAZ was resolved, "Customs provides access to the Russian market of components that we need". The same day, the Federal Customs Service said that, in general automotive components and perishable goods from Turkey are going without delay, and the rest goods pass the wide control. But really nothing has changed nor for AvtoVAZ, none for the other players - components are inspected in emergency mode, for example, they are sent to the "test for radiation," said in one of the concerns. The main problem is now almost at all automakers with service parts, say in another company, but "components for the plant, though very slowly, but come".
