OREANDA-NEWS. In November 2015 TATNEFT Company took the 2nd place among   TOP-10   national oil and gas industry companies with the highest level of information transparency according to the results of the monthly rating of the Russian Fuel and Energy Complex.

In addition to the information on the production and social activities of PJSC TATNEFT the rating compiled by the Agency for Political and Economic Communications (APEC) was influenced by Company’s participation in the first All-Russian "MediaTEK" contest of the mass media, press-services of the Fuel and Energy Complex companies and regional administrations.  The press service of TATNEFT won the first prize in the main category "Open Media Centre" for creating a maximally open and efficient public relations service in the Fuel and Energy Complex.

To determine the level of the information transparency of the Russian Fuel and Energy Complex companies APEC had carried out a survey with participation of 25 renowned experts: economists, political scientists, analysts and journalists. The evaluation was performed for 75 largest companies representing nuclear energy, gas, oil, coal mining, crude oil and petroleum products transportation and electrical industries.

Each expert assessed the information transparency level of the companies followed by determination of the arithmetic mean values of the experts’ evaluations (average scores).
