OREANDA-NEWS. The growth of prices for new cars since the beginning of 2016 is unavoidable. However, everybody concerned with the question - how quickly this will happen and how much do the prices rise?

One of the factors of the future increase can be called Russia's transition to the hard environmental standard for engine emission standards "Euro 5", which will happen from January 1st, 2016. The second reason – is the continuing exchange of rate fluctuations. If the dollar for the year rose against the ruble twice, then the price of new cars grew by only 25%. Difference will be caught up by manufacturers the next year.

By considering the dynamics of prices for 2015, we can say that by the results of the year an increase will be about 25%. And if at the end of 2014, many manufacturers have increased significantly the prices simultaneously after the jumped dollar, then the increase in prices was conducted smoothly as possible.

According to the forecast of experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the prices of new cars for 2016 will increase by 20-25%. "The increase in prices at the beginning of the year – is already common practice of automakers. Of course, not everyone will be raised up prices simultaneously; every manufacturer will follow its marketing policy. However, they all need to compensate the rising costs. And in the spring - buyers will be able to adapt to the new price lists, "- said the executive director of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", Sergei Udalov.

Recall that some producers have officially announced a price increase in January of 2016, the other producers, according to many sources, are also being prepared.
