OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2015. Vitaly Polekhin, head of SKOLKOVO Investors Club and managing partner at Qumo, was named the best business angel at the 2015 Venture Awards ceremony.

"We keep saying that the school’s success is primarily the success of our graduates. Within a few years, Vitaly Polekhin managed to create one of the strongest clubs for business angels in Russia, based on the SKOLKOVO community, and made an invaluable contribution to the development of our entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition, he co-organized a three-day course for venture capital investors. The course took place on December 4-6 and gathered our graduates, entrepreneurs and the most active participants of the venture capital market on our campus," said Andrei Sharonov, Dean of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.

SKOLKOVO Investors Club is a communication platform, which unites entrepreneurs and investors looking for new business opportunities. The club supports entrepreneurs with the help of private and institutional investors, participants and partners of the Club. Currently, the club has more than 100 members with the investment potential of \\$ 250 million. The partners of the club include 70 representatives of Russian and foreign venture capital and private equity funds managing borrowed capital.
