The quantitative criteria outlined by Gartner included:-

  • Pure-play companies derive more than 90% of revenue exclusively from application testing services. The requirement for this research was for these companies to have a minimum of $50 million in annual revenue (measured over 2014 — not the provider's fiscal year).
  • Full-service providers of application-related services are required to have $400 million in annual application testing service revenue (measured over 2014 — not the provider's fiscal year).
  • Providers must have regional-based testing delivery capabilities in at least two worldwide regions: North America (U.S. and Canada), Latin America, EMEA, and Asia/Pacific and Japan.
