First Carrefour hypermarket was opened in Timisoara, Romania
OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2015. The first Carrefour hypermarket in Timisoara, western Romania was opened to its visitors. It is the 29th hypermarket of the famous retailer in Romania. Carrefour runs 186 stores in Romania, 104 of them are supermarkets.
CEO of Carrefour Romania Jean Baptiste Dernoncourt mentioned specific features of the new hypermarket that lie not only in a big store’s size but also in a huge variety of goods displayed.
International holding Modern-Expo and one of the biggest retailers Carrefour has been working together more than three years. Being a reliable partner and one of leading manufacturer and supplier of store fixtures in Central and Eastern Europe, Modern-Expo equipped the new store in Timisoara with high-quality solutions for retail. The new hypermarket became one of the first projects done by international holding in Europe.
The new store’s design was completed by shelving system “Columbus” that encounters numerous creative solutions for different types of products as well as “Magellan” checkout counters.
All services, namely supply and mounting works were done just in time. The new hypermarket in Timisoara became a bright example of Modern-Expo perfect work that resulted in Carrefour complete satisfaction.
