OREANDA-NEWS. Sales by the program of preferential car loans exceeded 200 thousand cars. Forecast sales was already implemented, it was formed a huge customer base - banks received more than 851 thousand applications, among which more than half were approved, informed the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The program was launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia as of April 1st, 2015 and it will be valid until December 31st. Currently, the program is attended by 97 Russian credit organizations. Average rate on car loans with taking into account the discount for the last week was 10.76%, the discount rate is 7.33 percentage points.

Analysis of the best selling models shows that customers continue to choose cars, produced domestically. According to one of the largest participants in the program, "Setelem Bank" (more than 45 thousand cars under the program), the most popular models, sold on credit under the state program of preferential car loan - are the budgetary foreign cars with a high level of localization - KIA Rio and Hyundai Solaris. This was made possible thanks to the fact that prices for them have gone up slightly. The share of the state program was 65% of sales of bank auto loans in quantitative terms.

VTB24 (more than 33 thousand vehicles by the program) informed that the most popular are KIA Rio, Hyundai Solaris, and Lada Granta. Since the start of sales of Lada Vesta Bank offered a special loan program with a reduced interest rate of 8.9% per annum (including subsidies from the state). The first loan of Vesta was issued on the first day of sales - November 25, 2015.

According to VTB 24, after the raising of the key rate up to 17% in December 2014 and an increase of average interest rates in the loan market up to 22-24% in I quarter of 2015 the share of credit sales has decreased to critical 9%. Approval of the state program could keep the market from the further falling of sales.

According to the "UniCredit Bank" (it was issued more than 9000 car loans under the program), the top five includes Lada, Kia, Hyundai, Volkswagen and Ford. On the first day of sales Lada Vesta the bank approved the first application for the purchase of a new model.
