OREANDA-NEWS.  More than 70 personnel reservists from 11 regions of the service area of IDGC of Centre took part in the two-day Rally of young people, which took place in Tambov. The company carries out such activities regularly in order to identify and develop staff leadership skills, non-standard, individual approach to implementation of ideas. This year the gathering was held in the format of the "School of Chief Engineer of Distribution Zone". Young employees, among whom there were representatives of various specialties (head of production and technical, operational and technology groups, masters of crews, managers, engineers, etc.) met the leadership of the technical unit of the company and trade union leaders, participated in business trainings and the championship to solve practical problems in the electricity sector.

On the first day of the rally participants at the round table "Technical policy - from ideology to performers" met First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin and Deputy Chief Engineer for Operation Anton Gerasimov. In the format "meeting without ties" they discussed the implementation of the development strategy of the electric grid complex of the Russian Federation, the main goals and objectives of IDGC of Centre, problems with diagnostics of equipment and improvement of quality of transmitted electric energy.

No less informative for young power engineers was a meeting with Advisor to General Director - Chairman of the primary trade union organization of IDGC of Centre Victor Ablezgov. They, in particular, learned about the legal foundations and guarantees of activity of the trade union organization of IDGC of Centre, got acquainted with the basics of the labour law in the field of social partnership. In addition, the meeting discussed options for effective interaction between the trade union and youth councils, practice of organization of work with young people. "The trade union organization ensures social stability of employees, helps in the realization of corporate events, with every effort supports implementation of the youth initiatives," stressed during the meeting Viktor Ablezgov.

The second day of the rally was also full of events. Participants as part of teams of their branches decided how to eliminate the problem of technological failures and develop a long-term plan of the distribution network of Pereslavsky Distribution Zone. Despite the fact that the task was the same for all, the teams offered different and sometimes non-standard solutions. They were assessed by the expert jury with the participation of the technical unit of Tambovenergo and professors of the Tambov State Technical University - the leader in the training of skilled personnel in the electricity sector.

Winners were determined in team and individual categories. For the best team engineering solution of the case representatives of the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre were marked. For a creative approach to solving the case - the team of "Bryanskenergo". The best team work, according to the jury, was showed by power engineers of "Lipetskenergo".

The winner of the title of "the most active participant of the rally" was foreman of diagnostics of electrical equipment of "Orelenergo" Valery Galtsev. In the category "Business approach" the winner was the chief of the operation of "Bryanskenergo" Ivan Kovalev. "Best engineering idea" was demonstrated by the head of production and technology group of "Kurskenergo" Victor Shumakov. And his colleague from "Lipetskenergo" Nikolay Rusanov was awarded for "Constructive approach".

According to participants of the rally, thanks to the new format, it became for them particularly interesting and informative, gave the opportunity to achieve their potential, consider the current problems of the sector from a different perspective, to feel part of a large and friendly team of professionals.

"The purpose of the rally was to show young professionals development prospects and career growth that IDGC of Centre offers to those who decided to link their fate with the energy industry. At the same time, it provided an opportunity to assess the potential of the personnel reserve of the company. Today we can say with confidence that our young people are enthusiastic, active, motivated to gain new knowledge and skills. And one of the most important tasks for us today is to try to create for young colleagues maximum conditions for professional realization, development of the best personal qualities, successful work for the company and the electricity sector," summed up the event, First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin.
