Ford Goes Further to Help IT Students
OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2015. Ford is Going Further to help IT Students from the University of M?nster as part of a ‘University Engagement Initiative’.
The company welcomed 180 students to Cologne last month to learn modelling techniques to document processes and workflows and to see first-hand how Ford Fiestas are manufactured.
Ford and the University of M?nster have been working together for the past three years to build long-term relationships and to increase the awareness of Ford as an IT employer of choice for students.
During last month’s visit, students learned about the challenges of running IT in HR, how IT plays a crucial role in Marketing and Sales, the complexity of IT in vehicle production, and the world of IT finance.
The full day was organized by Lars Ehlers, an Alumnus of the University of M?nster. Prof. J?rg Becker from the University of M?nster said everyone who attended was impressed by the work atmosphere within Ford IT, adding: “You work together like one big family in Ford IT.”
