OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2015.  Delta will continue to serve as the Official Airline of the Minnesota Vikings as part of a partnership agreement that extends its sponsorship of the team through 2021.

Under the new agreement, Delta will open the Delta Sky360 Club, a 21,000 square-foot, field-level club space in U.S. Bank Stadium, the new Vikings stadium set to open in 2016. The expansive club, located just behind the Vikings bench spanning from 30-yard line to 30-yard line, will offer incredible field-level views of the action and up-close looks at both the Vikings player tunnel and post-game press conference room. In the space, guests will be treated to an all-inclusive culinary experience featuring a wide variety of food and beverage options.

“We are thrilled to continue as the Official Airline of the Vikings and have the opportunity to continue to serve the Minneapolis community and one of the most passionate fan bases in the league,” said Andy Zarras, Delta’s Vice President – Airport Customer Service in Minneapolis. “With the opening of the new stadium next season, we are excited to also unveil our new Delta Sky360 Club and offer Vikings fans the ultimate game day experience.”

“For seven years, Delta has safely and efficiently flown our players, coaches and staff around the country,” said Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf. “This extension not only ensures the same reliability continues for our team, but the renewed partnership also allows us to introduce Vikings fans to one of the most innovative club spaces in the NFL with the Delta Sky360 Club inside U.S. Bank Stadium.”

Delta will have permanent signage in and around the Delta Sky360 Club, along with exterior signage leading up to the space. Delta will also retain its exclusive LED signage for each home game and digital placements on either Vikings.com or the team’s mobile app. The six-year extension will provide Delta with opportunities for various promotional activities within the new Delta Sky360 Club, as well as unique group hospitality opportunities throughout the season. Delta and the Vikings will together develop enhanced season-long programming, offering fans exclusive benefits and opportunities for unique team engagement.

Since 2009, Delta has flown the Vikings more than 115,000 miles to and from road games.
