EuroChem's CSR Programme Recognised As Best in Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. EuroChem's CSR programme 'Comfortable Urban Environment for Living', has won in the 'Best programme promoting corporate charity policy and social investments' category at the 'Corporate Charity Leaders 2015' contest, organised by Vedomosti, the Russian business daily, PwC and Donors Forum.
EuroChem's programme 'Comfortable Urban Environment for Living' is focused on improving the quality of life for EuroChem employees and the urban environment where they live. The programme includes two unique urban development projects in Kotelnikovo (the Volgograd Region) and Berezniki (the Perm Krai), which are designed to accommodate up to 14,000 residents; a variety of integrated projects for the redevelopment of the urban environment and public utilities, the design of project master plans for long-term development; as well as a number of construction projects (parks, sports facilities, roads, and social/community facilities) in Kovdor (the Murmansk Region), Kingisepp (the Leningrad Region), Novomoskovsk (the Tula Region), Nevinnomyssk (the Stavropol Krai), and Belorechensk (the Krasnodar Krai).
EuroChem is focused on delivering new quality standards for the urban environment, building convenient infrastructure, and using advanced technologies in residential construction. By 2015, EuroChem has invested RUB 3.38 bn in this CSR programme, which includes RUB 820 m in 2014.
