OREANDA-NEWS. IDGC of Centre held a working meeting of representatives of the company’s management and the primary trade union organization (PTUO). At the event they discussed the regulation of social and labour relations and the implementation of the collective agreement of IDGC of Centre, plans for personnel and social policy of the company in the near future.
As First Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre Konstantin Mikhailik indicated, opening the meeting, despite the current difficult economic situation in the country, the company has made every effort to ensure a high level of social protection of its employees. "Stability is the basis of the power industry. And our task is to ensure it in all areas of the company’s activity. This is especially important in terms of the social component. The employees need to feel confidence in the future," he stressed.
"The collective agreement of IDGC of Centre was highly appreciated by representatives of the expert community. Our employees enjoy competitive salaries, social benefits and compensation are provided for them. The company’s management cares about their health and in the framework of voluntary medical insurance they get a wide range of medical services," noted Deputy General Director for HR Management and Organizational Design of IDGC of Centre Inna Gromova. According to her, even in the face of adverse external factors and the need to fulfill obligations to reduce costs, the company is committed not only to maintain the current level of social guarantees for the staff, but will try to the extent possible to increase them.
First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin in his speech highlighted the main directions of technical policy and how it will affect the scope and nature of the personnel labour conditions. He noted, in particular, that regular modernization of electric grid facilities based on modern technologies, performed by the company, is aimed at increasing productivity in maintaining equipment. In this situation, it is important to efficiently use freed up human resources to retain qualified staff. It is possible to solve the problem, including, within the consolidation of power grid assets in regions, organizing their service with forces of "disengaged" experts, considers Alexander Pilyugin.
Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of IDGC of Centre Victor Ablezgov and representatives of PTUOs of the branches present at the meeting talked about the participation of the primary trade union organizations in safety activities, social work and recreation for employees of IDGC of Centre, they motivate to achieve facing the company’s strategic goals, strengthen friendly social climate in the workforce in the field. In addition, they put forward proposals for measures aimed at developing employment initiatives, impact on staff motivation to work. In particular, representatives of the company’s management supported the idea of ??organizing a production competition between labour teams of Distribution Zones. It was also decided to hold meetings of IDGC of Centre’s management with union representatives on a regular basis, once every quarter and make their thematic, devoting every meeting dealing with specific issues.
