OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2015. Ford Motor Company was recently recognized with the 2015 AMCHAM Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence (ACE) Gold Award with Creative Partnership Designation for its community service initiatives in Thailand. Ford’s contributions include its award-winning Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) program as well as several employee-led initiatives.

DSFL is a centerpiece of the company’s efforts to improve driver safety across the region. Ford Thailand has trained more than 8,000 participants over the past eight years with practical, life-saving driving skills.

Ford’s commitment to the communities where it operates is also reflected in annual initiatives by employees, such as working with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for underprivileged families. Ford also partners with the Marine and Coastal Resources Research and Development Center to support sea turtle conservation and environmental sustainability.
