Ford Launches the New Figo to South and Sub-Saharan Africa Media in Johannesburg
The launch took the form of a four day event comprising 72 representatives over three rotations from automotive, lifestyle, influencer and consumer media (lifestyle was an overnight rotation, motoring single-day rotations). Hosting the in-depth business session was general Marketing Manager Tracey Delate, and B-Car Brand Manager Liz Venter.
The launch followed the Figo positioning and target market’s lifestyle, with consumer media enjoying a “Find the Figo” themed treasure hunt in and around the Hartebeespoort area. From speedboat rides to clues in a zoo, the adventure was well-received by all. Common activities on all rotations included an adrenalin-filled zip-line, and lunch via the Harties Cableway - overlooking the Magaliseberg mountains and huge Harties Dam below.
