GAZ Group Awards Its Best Employees
OREANDA-NEWS. GAZ Group, a company of Basic Element, a major diversified industrial group in Russia, summed up the results of the Presidential Award campaign. The awards, diplomas and money - were presented to the employees of GAZ Group divisions and service companies for their effective performance focused on further development of the Holding company.
GAZ Group summed up the results of the Presidential Award campaign, with the awards presented for maximum effective performance focused on further development of the Holding company. The award was established in 2014 for the purposes of celebrating the employees for their personal contribution in the improvement of the company's KPI's, high professionalism, initiative and responsibility.
Versus 2014, the number of the nominations was increased from six to ten, the employees who were willing to fight the prestigious award also became more active. In 2015, there were 128 applications filed in for the contest from GAZ Group divisions and service companies. 30 employees became the award winners in the nominations reflecting the main directions of development strategy of GAZ Group: production modernization and sales boost, labor productivity improvement and development of new products, improvement of the products and cooperation with suppliers, development of employees and high social activity.
For instance, Peter Maksimov, the leading design engineer of the Unified Engineering Center, became the winner in the New product launch nomination, for his contribution into the development of GAZelle Next panel van concept. The award for Supplier development was given to Svetlana Kiseleva, chief specialist of the component purchasing department of Power Trains - GAZ Group Ltd for the project to involve a Russian supplier of turbochargers for YaMZ-539 CNG engines within the import replacement program.
Aleksandr Lenets, head of import purchasing of AZ Ural, won in the Sales development nomination. Nadezhda Glumenkova, specialist of the HR Directorate of GAZ Group Management Company, was awarded for the development of the succession reserve system of the company, involving school children and students in engineering technical activities, including the Robototechnika project.
