OREANDA-NEWS. National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia’s central securities depository, took part in the 12th Federal Investment Forum held 20 November 2015 in Moscow. The event was organized by the «Securities Market» magazine and the social network Investor.ru. The Depositarium magazine was the forum’s media partner.

Due to a wide range of topics for discussion, the forum brings together specialists from different segments of the stock market, including representatives of regulators (the Bank of Russia and the Ministry of Finance), Russia’s securities market and its infrastructure, banks, asset management companies, self-regulatory organizations and professional associations, as well as leading stock market experts.

Sergey Bernevega, Managing Director for Corporate Information, represented NSD at the forum’s conference “Securities Market Infrastructure.” In his report, he focused on the progress of the corporate actions reform on the Russian market; in particular, Mr. Bernevega described the technological and legislative innovations implemented or planned during the reform.

Among other participants of the conference were representatives of the registrars (NRC, VTB Registrar, Noviy Registrator), NP RTS, Interfax, INFINITUM Specialized Depository JSC, and Professional Registration Center. Peter Lanskov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Professional Association of Registrars, Transfer Agents and Depositories (PARTAD), and Maxim Murashov, General Director, SR-DRAGA, co-chaired the conference.
