OOO Versal is a limited liability company registered on 5 August 2014. To date business activity has been virtually nil, but the Company now plans to acquire 480.6 ha of agricultural land in Moscow region (Solntsegorsk district) for resale via the purchase of a 30% stake in ZPIFN Regionalnaya Nedvizhimost [trs. Regional Real Estate Closed Mutual Real Estate Investment Fund]. Versal has close business ties to a real estate group with extensive development experience, including in transactions with agricultural land.

The purchase will be financed by a R450mn loan from PromsvyazBank. The Company’s debt burden is high at this time but will fall as assets are sold. Sensitivity to financial risks is elevated.

RusRating has assigned a credit rating to OOO Versal. The rating is "BB" on the international scale and "BBB" on the national scale, in both cases with a stable outlook.
