Two Extron Products Recognized as the Most Innovative of 2015
"We are extremely pleased to be recognized as a maker of innovative audio products," says Casey Hall, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Extron. "We are dedicated to audio engineering excellence and bringing the highest levels or performance, dependability, and value to our customers, as exemplified by the NetPA and CS 1226T Plus products."
The NetPA Series includes the NetPA 502 AT and NetPA 1001-70V AT half rack 1U, convection cooled power amplifiers featuring Dante digital audio networking. They deliver two channels of 50 watts into 4 ohms, or a single channel of 100 watts at 70 volts. NetPA amplifiers receive audio from Dante-enabled devices over a standard local area network, allowing for decentralized distribution of audio throughout a building. In addition to amplifying incoming Dante audio, NetPA amplifiers include line level outputs that can simultaneously feed an additional speaker zone or audio system. They are ENERGY STAR® qualified and feature an Extron exclusive, highly efficient, advanced Class D amplifier design. They also feature patented CDRS - Class D Ripple Suppression that provides improved signal fidelity over conventional Class D amplifiers.
The CS 1226T Plus SpeedMount Ceiling Speaker System is a patented, low profile, plenum rated two-piece speaker system. It is comprised of a CS 120P plenum rated enclosure and a CS 26T Plus two-way speaker cartridge. The CS 120P enclosure installs quickly into 2' x 2' (61 cm x 61 cm) or metric 600 mm x 600 mm suspended ceiling grids. The CS 26T Plus speaker cartridge features a 6.5" (16.5 cm) woofer and a 3/4" (1.9 cm) ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter in a coaxial design, with an innovative tweeter bridge that delivers smooth off-axis response. It offers wide 112° conical coverage for flexibility in speaker spacing, and can be used in 70/100 volt or 8 ohm operation. The CS 1226T Plus is available as a complete assembly, or the CS 120P and CS 26T Plus can be purchased separately to accommodate division-of-labor installations.
