OREANDA-NEWS. Groupe BPCE is the first banking group in Europe to team up with this open innovation competition dedicated to Fintech startups. By joining in this initiative, Group BPCE wants to work with startup companies from all over the world with a view to speeding up their growth and identifying promising new companies capable of strengthening the development of its own activities.

As emphasized by Philippe Poirot, Director of Digital Development, Transformation and Quality within Groupe BPCE: "Groupe BPCE’s ambition, via this competition, is to take advantage of the most innovative ideas developed by startups around the world in order to support the digital transformation of the private banking market.”

By teaming up with the Global Fintech Challenge, Groupe BPCE has positioned itself on the private banking segment, an area of considerable importance for the Group.

The most innovative startups will work on a co-development basis with Groupe BPCE. The overall winner in this competition will receive a financial endowment worth €30,000 for the completion of a Proof of concept (PoC).
