OREANDA-NEWS. The acting cabinet today amended government’s decision No. 1049 of 4 October 2001 regulating the issuance of special vehicle registration plates.

The amendment sees that starting with 1 June 2016, only vehicles in direct charge of keeping the public order and state security, as well as protecting citizens, country’s territory and environment in emergency situations, will receive special registration plates with the “ MAI” (Interior Ministry) inscription on them.

Other type of vehicles involved in special investigation activities, including criminal investigation, will not receive such registration plates.

The acting cabinet also approved a Calendar Plan of civil protection preparedness, as well as a plan to complete the Republican Training Centre with trainees for the next year.
