AfDB: ALSF and partners conduct training on PPPs in Togo
The five-day workshop is the 6th session being conducted under the second cycle of the Nomadic Training programme, which seeks to strengthen the skills of African professionals so as to ensure that they have the necessary legal and financial skills to prepare and develop PPP projects.
Previous training sessions under the Nomadic training program were held in Abidjan in November 2012, Johannesburg in June 2013, Dakar in November 2013, Nairobi in July 2015 and Abidjan in November 2015.
The training program specifically aims to encourage the exchange of experiences and expertise on good practices between the different countries of the continent to help strengthen the negotiation capacity and good governance and to promote better practices in the field of PPPs. Government officials representing the BOAD, Benin, Cameroon, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Republic of the Congo, Mauritania, Niger, the Central African Republic, Senegal, and Togo are expected to attend the training.
