Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, today announced the appointment of Nathalie Laneret as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the Capgemini Group. She is Assistant General Counsel within Capgemini’s Group Legal Department. In this newly created function, Nathalie will be overseeing Capgemini’s compliance with data privacy laws and internal privacy programs and policies. Nathalie will continue to report to Isabelle Roux-Chenu, Group General Counsel at Capgemini.

Biography of Nathalie Laneret:

Nathalie Laneret joined Capgemini Group Legal Department in 2011 as Assistant General Counsel to work on compliance, data protection and competition law matters for the whole group.

Nathalie began her career in 2000 with the French law firm August & Debouzy where she worked for three years as an IT and data protection attorney. She then joined the 3M group as an in-house senior legal counsel where she specialized in contracts, competition law, compliance matters and litigation. Nathalie worked with the 3M group until 2011 before joining Capgemini.

Nathalie Laneret holds a post graduate degree in European Law from Robert Schuman University (Strasbourg, France) and an L.L.M degree in American and International law from Duke University School of Law (Durham, USA). She is admitted to the New York and Paris bars.
