OREANDA-NEWS. Experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the structure of the market of new cars in Moscow and they made the top-10 of the most popular models in October.

The most sought-after new passenger car at residents of the capital was Hyundai Solaris. In October, on the roads of the capital there were appeared 1631 new "Solaris" cars. In second place there is KIA Rio - 1094 units. The third place is occupied by Volkswagen Polo (582 units), the fourth – by Skoda Rapid (437 units), which pushed back to fifth place Skoda Octavia (424 units). The top-10 of the most popular new cars in the capital in October includes also Ford Focus, Toyota Camry, Kia Ceed, LADA Largus and Renault Duster.

Analysts of "AUTOSTAT" noted, LADA Largus is in the "top ten" for the fourth time of this year. Previously, it took place in the TOP in March, May and June.

Among the cars with mileage in consumer preferences of Muscovites we can such leader as Ford Focus. During October of 2015, 1181 "Focus" cars have received the new metropolitan residence. In the second place in the Moscow market of "second-hand» - there is Opel Astra (528 units), and on the third - Volkswagen Passat (514 units). The fourth line is occupied by Skoda Octavia (456 units), and on the fifth place -Mercedes-Benz E-Class (445 units). The top-10 also includes Hyundai Solaris, Toyota Camry, LADA 2107, Daewoo Nexia and BMW 5-series.

As the study showed only two models (Skoda Octavia and Toyota Camry) are in the top 10 of both new and used vehicles. The rest preferences of Muscovites in the primary and secondary car markets are diverge.
