OREANDA-NEWS. Two models of Volkswagen - Scirocco three-door hatchback and a minivan Touran - left the Russian market. The stocks of relevant for our country Volkswagen Scirocco and Touran at dealers came to an end, and new versions of models will not be delivered to Russia.

According to the portal "Kolesa.ru”, Volkswagen Scirocco car is produced in Portugal since 2008, the model was restyled in 2014 but these cars were not brought to Russia, though it was planned. Relevant for our market version was sold at the price of 1 million 022 thousand rubles. Hatchback was equipped with a pair of petrol engines of 1.4 and 2.0 liters with a capacity of 122, 160 and 210 hp, manual gearbox and a "robot" were together with them.

Family minivan Volkswagen Touran – is one of the veterans of model range o f brand: its debut was in 2003, and over time it was updated twice. Now in the car markets of other countries there is presented the second generation of the car, but the company does not plan to supply models to Russia. Price of minivan varies from 1.247 million to 1.768 million rubles. The motor range includes as gasoline 105-, 140- and 170-horsepower engines, so "diesel" with a capacity of 110 hp.

Demand for both cars in the last year in Russia was small: dealers of Volkswagen sold only 730 units of the Touran and 150 units of Scirocco. At the moment, the main profit from sales in Russia is provided by the cars, whose production is localized in the country: Polo, Jetta, Tiguan and Touareg.
