Nissan names Kristina Adamski Director, Group Communications
Adamski will report to David Reuter, vice president, Corporate Communications, NNA. She replaces Travis Parman, who is on a foreign service assignment with Nissan's alliance partner, Renault.
"We are pleased to have Kristina join the Nissan team and continue the transformation of our corporate communications activities," said Reuter. "Kristina brings more than 12 years of strong global automotive experience to the role, and she is an ideal person to lead our efforts to tell Nissan's story of investment, growth and success in North America."
Most recently, Adamski led Global Manufacturing and Labor Communications at Ford Motor Company. In that role, she oversaw communications efforts for manufacturing facilities and hourly workers around the world.
Prior to joining Ford, Adamski worked for Weber Shandwick where she led projects for the agency's General Motors client in the U.S. and China, including a three-year assignment in Shanghai. She began her career in communications at Delphi Energy and Chassis Systems.
Adamski holds a degree in psychology from Wayne State University. She will be based at Nissan's North American headquarters in Franklin.
