OREANDA-NEWS. "Nizhnekamskshina" Factory of the PJSC TATNEFT’s Petrochemical Complex has successfully completed re-certification audit of the environmental management system and has received an international certificate.

The experts of OOO Test-St-Petersburg Co. Ltd.  carried out the inspection of the Factory for compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 international standard and GOST R ISO 14001-2004.

The auditors examined the activities of   assembly workshop No. 2, vulcanization shop No. 1, sanitary and industrial laboratory, departments of production mastering, industrial safety, labor and environment protection. The auditors assessed significant environmental aspects, including implementation of goals and objectives implied by the Environmental policy and the Environment Conservation Program; meeting legal and regulatory requirements, as well as maintaining documented procedures. The auditors analyzed the environmental management system performing by the management, assessed the performance and identified the areas for possible improvement of the system.

The audit resulted in issuing a three year valid international certificate to the factory for compliance with the requirements of Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 and GOST R ISO 14001-2004 in relation to the production of pneumatic tires for cars, trucks, light truck, buses, trolley buses, tractors and utility vehicles.

The environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of international standard ISO 14001: 2004 has been valid at PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" since December 2006. Its introduction and functioning has been supported by the IGNet compliance certificate.  The exclusive IQNet distinction mark is a worldwide known symbol of the high management and competence level. The IQNet certificate provides for recognition of the company in the global market.

The environmental activities of PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" are carried out on the continuous and systematic basis providing for environmental improvement, rational use of natural resources and raw materials, reduction of production and consumption waste, environmental safety in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation in the area of environmental protection and environmental management.
