OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2015. Housing & Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has paid a dividend of Rs.79.28 Crore to the Government of India. A cheque in this regard was handed over today to the Union Minister of Urban Development and Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation Shri Venkaiah Naidu here. Out of the total dividend, Rs. 69.20 crore is paid to the Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, Rs. 10.08 crore is paid to the Ministry of Urban Development.

Financial Highlights of HUDCO for FY 2014-15

• HUDCO posted highest ever Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs.777.63 crore

• HUDCO sanctioned loans of Rs.21094 crore, an increase of 21% over previous year

• HUDCO disbursed Rs.7973 crore, an increase of 7% over previous year

• The Net Worth of company stand at Rs.7781 crore, rose by 9% over previous year

• The Gross NPAs of company were reduced to 6.25% from 6.76% in comparison with previous year, a decline of 8% has been registered

• The Net NPAs of company were reduced to 1.59% from 2.52% from the previous year, a decline of 37% has been registered

• The Balance sheet size of the company rose from Rs.30213 crore in previous year to Rs.33113 crore in FY 2014-15, an increase of approximately 10 % in Balance Sheet size over last year

• HUDCO has an equity base of Rs.2001.90 crore and Reserve & Surplus of Rs.5779 crore

• HUDCO retained "Excellent" MoU rating consecutively for the fourth year

• Apart from the above achievements, HUDCO also resolved various chronic default cases thus reducing NPAs
