OREANDA-NEWS. Bank of Astana JSC (Almaty), whose securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has informed KASE of the following:

"... of the full exercise by the Issuer's shareholders of the Issuer's shares pre-emption right granted to them, and as a consequence the number of shares to be offered for acquisition in the organized securities market is zero, as this number is the result of these shares pre-emptive rights exercise of in accordance with sub-clause 5) of clause 1 of Article 22-1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Securities Market.

As a result of the placement by the Issuer of its own shares, there was a change in the structure of holders of 5 percent or more of the total outstanding shares of the Issuer. At the moment, the only shareholder owning more than 5 percent of the total number of outstanding shares of the Issuer is Olzhas Tokhtarov with 82.74% ownership interest in the amount of 12,411,244 common shares. The date of registration of changes in the system of registers of securities holdersis November 12, 2015, the date of receipt of the report on the execution is November 16, 2015".
