OREANDA-NEWS. SAP Canada was recently recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2016.
A national competition that recognizes employers offering exceptional workplaces for their employees, Canada’s Top 100 Employers uses eight criteria to make their selections, focused on the workplace, performance management, career development for employees and community involvement.
“Companies rise to the top by continuing to evolve so they get better. That requires a dedicated commitment to making their workplace the best it can possibly be through a wide variety of progressive and innovative programs,” according to the Canada’s Top 100 Employers website.
SAP Canada got a pretty stellar report card from Canada’s Top 100 Employers. Here’s just a few reasons why the staff editors agree SAP Canada is truly a great place to work:
  • SAP Canada offers fantastic, outside-the-box educational and learning opportunities. In addition to SAP Canada’s tuition reimbursement programs for employees, staff can also participate in the SAP Social Sabbatical program, which enables them to solve business challenges for promising start-ups in the non-profit world in developing countries.
  • Employees can take advantage of programs that allow them to take pride in ownership for the success of our company. SAP Canada employees can participate through a purchase plan and save for the future through the defined contribution pension plan.
  • Staff can take advantage of opportunities to truly make an impact in their local communities. SAP Canada provides one volunteer day off for SAP-sponsored events and encourages employee giving with matching charitable donations, to $250 annually.

“We couldn’t be more excited and humbled by this award, “ said Agi Garaba, Head of HR, SAP Canada. “We are proud to offer a number of innovative programs that help develop our people more than ever before, promote a diverse environment, and, make coming to work more fun.”

Jewell Parkinson, SVP, HR for SAP North America couldn’t agree more. “This is truly our time as a company. We know our best asset is our people, and we are investing in them to make them feel like they are truly at home with SAP. We expect a lot from our employees, and they from us, so we’re making sure they have what they need to be successful here.”
