Yatsenyuk instructs to check 20 largest state-owned companies
OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2015. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk has instructed to conduct an audit of financial and economic activity of the twenty largest state-owned companies. The Head of Government said this at the International Anti-Corruption Conference “Preventing. Fighting. Acting”.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk reminded that the Parliament had failed to support the Government’s initiatives both on privatization of state-owned companies and introduction of independent directors in public companies.
Consequently, according to the Prime Minister, state-owned enterprises “remain “a wet-nurse” and the foundation of corruption in the country.”
"I have instructed to check the 20 largest state-owned companies from NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy and Energoatom to Elektrotyazhmash and Odesa Port Plant," underlined Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
