OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", for 9 months of 2015 in Russia 307.7 thousand light commercial vehicles (LCV) have changed their owners. It is less by 11% than in the same period of the last year (345.3 thousand units).

The leader in the LCV with mileage segment is domestic GAZ. In January-September of 2015 it was resold 130,900 vehicles (-9.4% to the same period of the last year).

In the second place there is also Russian brand - UAZ – it was sold 32.1 thousand vehicles, which is less by 9.2% than the last year. The third position in the market of used light commercial vehicles is occupied by Japanese brand Toyota – it was resold 19.9 thousand units, which was less by 16.1% than the year before. The five leaders entered Volkswagen (18,3 thousand units; -16.8%) and Ford (13,6 thousand units; -10%).

Top-10 brand-leaders (except the listed ones it also includes Mercedes, Hyundai, Nissan, Fiat and Peugeot) provided 86% of the market.

Analysts say that a substantial share of market of used LCV (70%) is belonged to quite old units: at the age of 7 years and older.
