OREANDA-NEWS. Sedan Volkswagen Polo is one of the three top-selling foreign models in October that shown sales growth of 20%. According to analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT", an additional interest in the best-selling Volkswagen was provided, in particular, by the emergence of the new available equipment, due to which the price of the model has become one of the lowest in the segment.

As noted in the review of the Russian car market in October, the best-selling model in Russia is Hyundai Solaris with the index of 9507 cars (-10%). The second place is occupied by LADA Granta, whose sales were 9308 cars (-44.6%). The third result was shown by renewed KIA Rio - 9017 sold cars (+ 27%). Sales of the sedan Volkswagen Polo in the last month rose by 19.9% to 4637 units. Leadership among SUV models is held by Renault Duster, which sold 4,205 units (-27.2%). Then other two more models of Renault follow - the sedan Logan (3234 units, -50.7%) and hatchback Sandero (3094 units, -2%). Slightly less result was shown by SUV Chevrolet Niva - 3039 cars (-18%). The best-seller in the market of estate cars is still LADA Largus, which was sold in amount of 3,029 units (-53.8%). The Top-10 of the most popular models in Russia at this time is closed by LADA Kalina, whose sales were 2,907 vehicles (-39.5%).
