Ford Enhances Customer Service with Annual National Skills Contest
“The competition is part of Ford’s dedication to providing world-class customer service and ensuring every dealership nationwide is providing the best possible customer experience,” said Yukontorn Wisadkosin, managing director, Ford Thailand. “The contest also provides Ford staff with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and share their learnings and customer service experience with each other.”
The Contest successfully sharpened the participants’ skills and was open to Ford dealer sales and service teams in five categories.
Contestants and teams entered in one of five categories:
1. Contestants in the Technician category were tested for their knowledge in repairing and diagnosing different problems in Ford automobile systems.
2. Contestants in Service Advisor category required knowledge in service advising, quality assurance and other customer service standards.
3. Sales Consultants required knowledge in product presentations, financial advice and new vehicle delivery.
4. Contestants in the Dealer Customer Relationship Center (DCRC) were tested in their basic knowledge in customer relationship and customer satisfaction management, customer service standards and after-sales service skills.
5. The final category was for Quick Service Teams, which challenged the speed and efficiency of technician staff by having them complete repairs within 60 minutes.
“We are confident that this annual contest will help our service staff continually improve and sharpen their skills to take our customer service to the next level, so that we can provide the finest service to Ford customers,” Wisadkosin added.
