OREANDA-NEWS. Introducing Yuriy Dmitrak to the team of JSC VNIPIpromtechnologii, the General Director of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. Vladimir Verkhovtsev mentioned that critical multi-level objectives were put before the Engineering Centre then. Thus, to ensure stable operation of the production unit, it is necessary to as soon as possible complete design of the mine No.6 of the Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Union with successful state expertise results, simultaneously working for JSC Khiagda and JSC Dalur. No less important is design of the most northern mining enterprise in Russia for production and processing of lead-zinc ores in the South Island of the Novaya Zemlya Archipelago. Within the interstate program, the team is occupied with an important project “Rehabiliation of Territories of Member States of Eurasian Economic Union Exposed to Influence of Uranium-Mining Production Facilities”. There is defense procurement, there are customers in the foreign market.

“Credit for establishment of the Engineering Centre on the base of the oldest design institution in the nuclear power industry goes to the entire team of JSC VNIPIpromtechnologii. The institute entered a new development path under management of Aleksey Starodumov, who will now work in the management company and be in charge of the important complex projects of the entire production unit. I am sure that under management of Yuriy Dmitrak the team of the Engineering Centre will be able to fulfil all the current objectives and to develop successfully”, - said Vladimir Verkhovtsev.

Yuriy Dmitrak himself told about his experience. He graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute as the Mining Mechanical Engineer with distinction. He worked in the Moscow State Mining University, was the Department Professor, the Dean of the Faculty and the Pro-Rector.  He was the Rector of the Moscow State Mining University from 2012 to 2013. Yuriy Dmitrak is the Doctor of Engineering, Professor. He is awarded with “Mining Glory” badge of honour, Class III.
