Crude Oil Production

In October 2015, PJSC TATNEFT produced 2,312,891 tonnes of crude oil or 103.6% versus October 2014 (+79,552 tonnes). The volume of crude oil production for ten months of 2015 amounted to 22,197,663 tonnes, which was 361,539 tonnes more than in 2014 (101.7%). The volume of collected associated petroleum gas increased by 7.2 million m3 and amounted to 745.0 million m3 (101 per cent).

The production volume for TATNEFT Group of Companies amounted to 22,461,704 tonnes of crude oil (101.7%; +369,836 tonnes versus the level of the previous year).

New Drilling

The new drilling meterage for ten months of 2015 amounted to 741.8 thousand meters (plan – 728.2 thousand meters) with the production drilling accounting for 442.6 thousand meters (plan – 432.3 thousand meters) and exploratory drilling accounting for 13.6 thousand meters (plan – 12.8 thousand meters), while drilling to bitumen deposits amounted to 285.7 thousand meters (plan – 283.2 thousand meters).

6.7 thousand meters (plan – 6.4 thousand meters) were penetrated for OOO “Tatneft-Samara”, including production drilling amounting to 3.5 thousand meters (plan – 3.5 thousand meters) and exploratory drilling amounting to 3.2 thousand meters (plan – 2.9 thousand meters).

531 wells (plan – 514 wells) were delivered to customers, including production drilling amounting to 264 wells (plan – 252 wells); exploratory drilling amounting to 10 wells (plan – 10 wells) and drilling to bitumen deposits amounted to 257 wells (plan – 252 wells).

3 wells (plan – 3 wells) were delivered for OOO “Tatneft-Samara”, including 2 production wells (plan – 2 wells) and 1 exploratory well (plan – 1 well).

Active Well Stock Drilling

The meterage of sidetracking and drilling of horizontal wellbores amounted to 24.9 thousand meters for ten months of 2015 (plan – 24.3 thousand meters), while 61 wells (plan – 60 wells) were delivered to customers.

The average number of drilling crews performing conventional well drilling operations during ten months of 2015 amounted to 42, while 9 drilling crews were engaged in drilling laterals and lateral horizontal wellbores.

27 drilling crews performed drilling to the bituminous deposits.

Repair of Wells

Remedial servicing was performed in 931 wells in October 2015 (741wells in October 2014), while the number of wells serviced during ten months amounted to 8,071 wells (6,823 wells in 2014).

66 well remedial servicing operations were performed at the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan from the beginning of 2015 (102 remedial servicing operations for 10 months in 2014) with 4 jobs performed in October.

Workover operations were performed in 1,950 wells during ten months of 2015 or 100% to the plan (182 wells in October and 2,277 wells during 10 months of 2014).

Formation hydrocracking operations were carried out in 545 wells or 100% to the plan (55 wells in October and 546 wells during 10 months in 2014). The cumulative incremental ultimate crude oil recovery amounted to 10 million 783 thousand tonnes.

Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 2,226 wells (102 percent to the plan with 204 wells treated in October) (2,241 wells during ten months of 2014), including chemical methods applied in 1,092 wells (100 percent to the plan, 101 wells in October and 1,114 wells during 10 months of 2014). The  cumulative incremental ultimate crude oil recovery through application of crude oil recovery enhancement methods amounted to 5 million 584 thousand tonnes of crude oil (115 percent to the plan) with the share resulting from chemicals application accounting for 1 million 770 thousand tons of crude oil (100 percent to the plan).

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 806.5 thousand tonnes of raw materials in October 2015 and 7,682.1 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year, including 734.3 thousand tonnes of petroleum feedstock and 7,208.6 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year. The Complex yielded 775.6 thousand tonnes of oil products in October and 7,378.8 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year.
