OREANDA-NEWS. Following the results of the 1-st half year 2015 Boryspil International Airport State Enterprise paid UAH 75,9 million of dividends and profit tax to the state budget of Ukraine.

This result became possible due to implementation of the new strategy of the airport development, which has been carrying out since December 2014, and for the first time within the last 3 years it allowed to end the half year with the profit. Earlier, Boryspil Airport has last paid dividends following the results of the 4-thquarter of 2013 in the amount of UAH 9,2 million.

The total amount of payments effected by Boryspil Airport to the state and local budgets since the beginning of 2015 has reached UAH 231,8 million. The budget replenishment, which became possible due to the positive changes at the airport in 2015, became one of the priorities of Boryspil Airport operation.

To recap, in the first half year of 2015 Boryspil Airport implemented a range of important reforms:
- the plan of air transportation boosting was introduced, foremost, due to the airport transit potential usage that made available growth of income by 59%;
- the level of airport attractiveness for passengers was increased and the airport was recognized one of the best in the Eastern Europe;
- the prime cost reduction program was implemented that allowed to end the half year with the profit for the first time within the last 3 years.

The positive results of the first half year have laid the ground for further passenger traffic volumes growth of the state enterprise, provision of profitability and replenishment of state budget.
