OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2015. AvtoVAZ has adjusted the production plan of the Izhevsk car plant in 2015 from 106 thousand to 75 thousand cars. It was announced by AVTOVAZ President, Bo Andersson, by adding that the production plan includes Lada Granta Liftback, Nissan Tiida, Nissan Sentra and 5000 cars Lada Vesta. He explained that the adjustment associated with a reduction in the car market. "The market fell by 34%. And today we produce only under orders of consumers. That is why we have adjusted production”, - "Finmarket" agency quoted Bo Andersson. – “If some things have changed, we are still able to add and make more cars".

According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", for the first eight months of 2015 the conveyor of Izhevsk car plant produced 54.5 thousand cars. Among them there are: Lada Granta sedan - 1.2 thousand units, Lada Granta liftbek - 44.9 thousand units, Nissan Sentra - 4,8 thousand units, Nissan Tiida - 3,4 thousand units, Lada Vesta - 0,2 thousand units.

Meanwhile, the Izhevsk plant, which launched on September 25th the mass production of the new model Lada Vesta, at the end of October produced the first 800 of such vehicles, informed the head of AvtoVAZ. According to him, the Izhevsk plant produces 65 Vesta cars per a day, and the rest of the year it is scheduled to produce 5000 new cars, writes "Rossiyskaya Gazeta". "If people want to buy more Lada Vesta, we can produce more" - he said. Recall that the cost of new items is not known yet, but the manufacturer has promised to freeze prices for it during the least nine months from the start of sales.
