BNP Paribas rewarded for its Diversity & Inclusion policies
Each year, the Workplace Pride foundation rewards employers and their inclusive policies towards all employees, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. In 2014, BNP Paribas has been ranked 3rd place with a score of 76%. This year the bank reached the score of 85.3%.
This result followed a survey that has been submitted to major global companies. The criteria taken into account included inclusive policies, professional networks, training, raising awareness, communication and commitment from both employees and directors.
Vinay Kapoor, BNP Paribas Head of Diversity in the UK, earned a spot in the TOP 50 “Diversity Professionals”, a distinction by the weekly newspapers The Economist. The prize recognizes the many actions led by the Diversity and Inclusion team in the UK.
