OREANDA-NEWS. The greatest demand by state programs to support the car market among Volkswagen cars are Polo sedan and crossover Tiguan. The agency "AUTOSTAT" was informed by the press service of Volkswagen, by noting that these models are traditionally the best-selling brands in Russia. The company estimates positively the effect of participation in the programs of state support for the automotive industry.

For the first nine months of 2015 Russian dealers of Volkswagen sold 55,979 vehicles – it is less by 40% than in the same period of the last year. Best-selling brand in Russia is still model Polo, whose sales were 31,378 vehicles (-30%).
