OREANDA-NEWS. KEGOC participated in International Power Industry Exhibitions. On October 27-29 the following joint International Power Industry Exhibitions took place in Almaty:

- ‘Power industry, electrical equipment and machine engineering’ - Power Kazakhstan 2015;

- ‘Lighting, lighting equipment and LED technologies’ - Lighting Kazakhstan 2015;

- ‘Renewable energy sources, energy saving, energy efficiency & resource saving’ - ReEnergy Kazakhstan 2015.

This year more than 180 companies from 20 countries participated in joint exhibitions. National groups of exhibitors represented Iran, Germany, China and Czech Republic. Traditionally, majority of participants are represented by the companies from Kazakhstan and Russia.

Mr. Kairat Karakesekov, Head of Almatinskiye MES branch delivered a welcome address of the Chairman of KEGOC’s Management Board to participants and guests of the event.

Three exhibitions of advanced developments and technologies are of great interest for KEGOC. As is known, KEGOC performs construction of new power infrastructure facilities to develop the economy and ensure energy security of Kazakhstan. In 2014, pursuant to the new state economic policy ‘Nurly Zhol – Way to the Future’, KEGOC started construction of two high-voltage overhead transmission lines, a part of the large-scale project – ‘500 kV OHTL North-East-South Transit Construction Project’.
