OREANDA-NEWS. November 05, 2015. KAZ Minerals PLC (London), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release:

Baes on results of nine months of 2015 Group KAZ Minerals produced 58 thousand tons of cathode copper. Production pace will allow reaching the proposed 80-85 thousand tons by the end of the year. Concentrated copper production reached 67 thousand tons.

During the period under review the Group extracted 5.47 mln tons of ore, which is by 56% more than in the last year's comparable period, because apart from mines of east Kazakhstan and Bozymchak field in Kyrgyzstan, ore from field Aktogai (East Kazakhstan) is takeninto account. Average content of copper in the ore made up 1e51%.
