Sberbank Held Meeting with Minority Shareholders of Far East
OREANDA-NEWS. Visiting session of the Committee for relations with the bank's minority shareholders of Sberbank took place in Khabarovsk. Simultaneously, shareholders from Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Magadan and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky participated in the meeting via video conference.
Committee Chairman Anton Danilov-Danilyan presented Sberbank's strategic development plan to shareholders and answered their questions, which were mainly focused on various details of the strategy, dividend policy, investment activity and development of brokerage services.
"The shareholders' eagerness to find out more about the bank's current activities, prospects and development plans is quite natural. Sberbank is the first Russian company to have created a special committee aimed at establishing close communication with minority shareholders. During these personal meetings shareholders can directly ask questions that are of interest to them. The committee plays the role of a bridge between shareholders and the bank's management," Evgeny Titov, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank's Dalnevostochny Bank emphasised.
Today, there are more than 7 thousand shareholders in the Far East, which accounts for 3.5% of the total number of shareholders. Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region, in turn, account for more than 1.5 thousand shareholders.
