OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, started providing mobile services under its brand in six regions of the country in September 2015 – the Altay Territory, Orenburg Region, republics of Mordovia, Tyva, Khakasia and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area. The Tele2 brand launch is the largest project in the Russian telecommunications industry. It took the company only six months to enter the telecommunications market in 21 Russian regions. They were earlier operated by Rostelecom subsidiaries that were handed over to Tele2 as a part of the deal on creating a new mobile operator.

Prior to the launch of commercial operations in new regions, the operator promoted key principles and the main features of the company’s brand – low prices, simplicity and honesty in contacts with subscribers.

The operator provided all those willing with a chance to speak out and vote for affordable prices and high-quality services. Over 246 thou residents of the Altay Territory, Orenburg Region, Mordovia and Khakasia took part in a special certificate program. Certificates give newly connected subscribers an opportunity to get additional funds onto a mobile account.

Apart from the launches in new regions, Tele2 has commissioned the 3G network in Tula Region. Now the region’s residents may use 3G and 4G services. Tele2 is offering three new package tariffs to all users of high-speed wireless Internet – “Black”, “Dark Black”, “The Blackest”. Tariffs differ in volume of included Internet traffic, a number of minutes and SMS. All package tariffs are traditionally simple and allow Tele2 subscribers to use modern telecommunication services at affordable prices.

Apart from profitable tariffs, the operator has envisaged different tariff options: “Internet bag”, “Internet briefcase”, “Internet suitcase”. These options with different traffic volume are created for subscribers who want to use high-speed wireless Internet but prefer their current tariff.
