Enterprise offers additional Aegis capacity

OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2015. Enterprise Products Partners is offering an open season on a proposed expansion of its Aegis ethane pipeline starting 1 November.

The 270-mile system is designed to carry ethane from Enterprise's Mont Belvieu, Texas storage cavern to petrochemical plants from south Texas to Mississippi. The portions of the line between Mont Belvieu and Beaumont, Texas, and from Beaumont, Texas, to Lake Charles, Louisiana, are already in service. The remainder of the line, which will extend into the Mississippi river corridor, will be completed by the end of 2015.

The open commitment period will last through 30 November.
