(NASDAQ: REGN) today announced that Science magazine has ranked Regeneron as one of the world's top two biopharmaceutical employers for the fifth consecutive year. This year, the company was named number two, following first place rankings in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and a second place ranking in 2011.

The ranking indicates that Regeneron earned high marks among survey respondents for being an innovative leader in industry, treating employees with respect, engendering employee loyalty, operating in a manner that is socially responsible, having a clear vision and producing important, quality research.

The Science and Science Careers 2015 annual Top Employers Survey polled employees in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and related industries to determine the best employers in these industries, as well as their driving characteristics. Survey respondents rated Regeneron highly based on 23 characteristics, including a research-driven environment, respect and loyalty toward employees, ability to adapt to change and financial strength.

According to Science, the 2015 global survey results were based on over 5,700 responses from North America (57 percent), Europe (27 percent) and Asia/Pacific Rim (11 percent).
